Ben De Bruyn es Profesor de Literatura Inglesa en la Universidad Católica de Lovaina. Es autor de Wolfgang Iser: A Companion (De Gruyter, 2012) y The Novel and the Multispecies Soundscape (Palgrave, 2020), así como coeditor de Literature Now: Key Terms and Methods for Literary History (con Sascha Bru y Michel Delville, Edimburgo, UP, 2016) y Planetary Memory in Contemporary American Fiction (con Lucy Bond y Jessica Rapson, Routledge, 2018). Actualmente trabaja en una nueva monografía titulada provisionalmente Beyond Cli-Fi.
